RADIATOR GRILLE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR SEAL LH


    1. A00273X

      Remove the 2 clips and radiator side deflector seal LH.

  2. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE SEAL RH


    1. A0028QY

      Remove the 2 clips and radiator side seal RH.

  3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL


    1. A002CEN

      Remove the 7 clips and cool air intake duct seal.

  4. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.

      B004057 Protective Tape

      Apply protective tape around the radiator grille assembly as shown in the illustration.

    4. A002BG5

      Remove the 6 clips.

    5. A002ADE

      Disengage the 8 claws and remove the radiator grille assembly as shown in the illustration.

  5. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Toyota Safety Sense)

  6. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM

      *a Spring Nut
      *b Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, pull out the 2 spring nuts as shown in the illustration.

    2. A002C6BC01
      *a Cut

      Using a plier nipper (side cutters), cut the 2 spring nuts at the positions shown in the illustration and remove them.

    3. A0027NT

      Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides as shown in the illustration to remove the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.
