FRONT BUMPER DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  2. REMOVE FRONT CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

    for 6 Sensor Type:

  3. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH


    1. A0029TK

      Remove the 4 screws.

    2. Remove the clip.

    3. Disengage the claw to remove the fog light mounting bracket LH.

    4. A0026YT

      Remove the screw.

    5. Remove the 2 clips.

    6. Disengage the 5 claws to remove the fog light cover LH.

  6. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

      Disengage the claw to remove the front fender liner retainer.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

      Remove the screw.

    2. Remove the clip.

    3. A002AXP

      Disengage the 3 claws to remove the front bumper side retainer LH.

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE FRONT TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Panoramic View Monitor System)

  11. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER UPPER CENTER RETAINER


    1. A002AHL

      Remove the 8 screws and front bumper upper center retainer.

  12. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A002BWSC01
      *a Hook
      B004057 Double-sided Tape

      Disengage the 5 claws as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the hook to remove the radiator grille garnish sub-assembly LH.

  13. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  14. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 screws.

    2. Disengage the 16 claws to remove the lower radiator grille sub-assembly.

  15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket

  16. REMOVE LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER

      *1 Outside Moulding Retainer

      Remove the 2 outside moulding retainers.

    2. Remove the 4 clips.

    3. Disengage the 18 claws to remove the lower front bumper cover.

  17. REMOVE NO. 1 MOULDING TAPE


    1. A0028AC

      Remove the No. 1 moulding tape.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  18. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

    1. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  19. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT


    1. A002AQO

      Disengage the 2 clamps.

    2. A0028VP

      Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.

  20. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER STAY LH


    1. A0027Z2

      Remove the bolt.

    2. A002BYW

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the clip as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the claw to remove the front bumper stay LH.

  21. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER STAY RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
