HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY(for LED Headlight) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 HEADLIGHT BULB


    1. A018IR8

      Turn the back cover assembly as shown in the illustration to remove it.

    2. A018H4M

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. A018HEJ

      Turn the No. 1 headlight bulb as shown in the illustration to remove it.

      Note

      Do not touch the bulb glass.

  2. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT BULB


    1. A018KBQ

      Turn the headlight cord with the front turn signal light bulb as shown in the illustration to disconnect them as a unit.

    2. Remove the front turn signal light bulb from the headlight cord.

  3. REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT SOCKET


    1. Disconnect the connector to remove the front turn signal light socket from the headlight cord.

  4. REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT BULB

      Disconnect the socket with the clearance light bulb as shown in the illustration.

    2. Remove the clearance light bulb from the socket.

  5. REMOVE LIGHT CONTROL ECU


    1. A018IZH

      Remove the 4 screws and disconnect the light control ECU with the No. 1 headlight back cover.

    2. A018JRS

      Disconnect the connector to remove the light control ECU with the No. 1 headlight back cover.

    3. A018JYD

      Remove the 2 screws and light control ECU.

  6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT GASKET


    1. A018KEB

      Remove the headlight gasket.

      Note

      After the headlight gasket is removed, be sure to replace it with a new one. Failure to do so may cause water ingress.

  7. REMOVE HEADLIGHT LEVELING MOTOR

      *a Aiming Screw

      Turn the aiming screw of the headlight leveling motor in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips


      • Turn the aiming screw until the headlight leveling motor can be moved in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration.

      • Make sure to remember the number of aiming screw rotations.

    2. Turn the headlight leveling motor in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) shown in the illustration to disengage the pin.

    3. A018LVJC01
      *a Aiming Screw

      Turn the aiming screw of the headlight leveling motor in the direction indicated by the arrow (3) shown in the illustration to disengage the shaft.

      Tech Tips

      Make sure to remember the number of aiming screw rotations.

    4. Pull out the headlight leveling motor in the direction indicated by the arrow (4) shown in the illustration to remove it.
