AUTOMATIC HEADLIGHT BEAM LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM


  1. DESCRIPTION

    Automatic headlight beam level control system data and Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be read from the Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3) of the vehicle. When the system seems to be malfunctioning, use the GTS to check for malfunctions and to assist with repairs.

  2. CHECK DLC3

    Check the DLC3.

  3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE

    Measure the battery voltage.

    If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery.

  4. DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

    *B Multi-information Display (for Color Type)

If the automatic headlight beam level control system malfunctions, "CHECK HEADLIGHT SYSTEM"*1 or "Check Headlight System"*2 is displayed on the multi-information display.

Tech Tips

When the system returns to normal, "CHECK HEADLIGHT SYSTEM"*1 or "Check Headlight System"*2 will no longer displayed on the multi-information display.
