POWER BACK DOOR CLOSER SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH


    1. Check the operation of the back door control switch.


      1. A018HSOC04
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Back Door Control Switch)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        4 (CLS) - 1 (E) Back door control switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
        Back door control switch pushed Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the back door control switch.

    2. A018HSOC05
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Back Door Control Switch)

      Check that the switch illuminates.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the power back door control switch and check that the LED illuminates.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → 3 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → 2 (ILL-)

        		 LED illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the back door control switch.
