POWER BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT REAR DOOR CONTROL SWITCH


    1. Check the operation of the rear door control switch.


      1. A018HSOC02

        Component without harness connected

        (Rear Door Control Switch)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 (MSE) - 4 (MSW) Rear door control switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
        1 (MSE) - 4 (MSW) Rear door control switch pushed Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the back rear door control switch.

    2. A018HSOC03
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Rear Door Control Switch)

      Check that the switch illuminates.


      1. Apply battery voltage to the power back rear door control switch and check that the LED illuminates.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → 3 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → 2 (ILL-)

        		 LED illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the back rear door control switch.
