  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Back Door > Clear DTCs
    2. Check for DTCs.

      Click here

  2. READ VALUE USING GTS


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Back Door / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.


      Body Electrical > Back Door > Data List

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU - POWER BACK DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH)


    1. Disconnect the X6 multiplex network door ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the X2 power back door sensor assembly LH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      X6-18 (OSL) - X2-1 (OSL) Always Below 1 Ω
      X6-17 (OSE) - X2-2 (OSLE) Always Below 1 Ω
      X6-18 (OSL) or X2-1 (OSL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      X6-17 (OSE) or X2-2 (OSLE) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
