  1. INSPECT SLIDING ROOF SWITCH (MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY)

      Component without harness connected

      (Sliding Roof Switch (Map Light Assembly))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      6 - 1 UP switch is pressed Below 1 Ω
      6 - 1 UP switch is not pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      5 - 1 DOWN switch is pressed Below 1 Ω
      5 - 1 DOWN switch is not pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      17 - 1 OPEN switch is pressed Below 1 Ω
      17 - 1 OPEN switch is not pressed 10 kΩ or higher
      16 - 1 CLOSE switch is pressed Below 1 Ω
      16 - 1 CLOSE switch is not pressed 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the sliding roof switch (map light assembly).
