CUSTOMIZE POWER BACK DOOR SYSTEM

1. Customizing with the GTS.

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / PSD & PBD operation.

   5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

      PBD Assist Open Operation	Function that enables or disables the power back door assist open operation.       PBD Assist Close Operation	Function that enables or disables the power back door assist close operation. When PBD Assist Close Operation is set to ON the back door will close automatically when closing the back door by manual operation.	ON	0:OFF,1:ON	Multiplex network door ECU

      • *1: The warning buzzer that sounds when the power back door system starts operating cannot be customized.

      • *2: for LHD

      • *3: for RHD

      • *4: Default setting differs depending on the country

2. Customizing with the multi-display

   
   

   1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

   2. Enter the following menus: APPS or SETUP / Vehicle / Vehicle customization / Other vehicle settings. (for Radio and Display Type)

   3. Enter the following menus: APPS / Setup / Vehicle / Vehicle customization / Other vehicle settings. (for Navigation Receiver Type)

   4. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

      • *: When the customize setting of the back door opening angle memorization function has been changed, turn the engine switch from off to on (IG) to update the multi-display.

3. Back door opening angle memorization function (manual operation)

   
   

   1. Setting procedure

      
      

      1. Open then stop the back door at the desired stop angle by manual operation.

      2. Press and hold the back door control switch for 1.7 seconds to memorize the stop angle. (The buzzer will sound 4 times.)

      Tech Tips

      When the customize setting of the back door opening angle memorization function has been changed, turn the engine switch from off to on (IG) to update the multi-display.

   2. Canceling procedure

      
      

      1. Press and hold the back door control switch for 7 seconds to clear the memorized stop angle. (The buzzer will sound twice.)
