BACK DOOR GLASS INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL BACK DOOR GLASS GUIDE UPPER BRACKET LH (for Glass Hatch Type)

  2. INSTALL BACK DOOR GLASS GUIDE UPPER BRACKET RH (for Glass Hatch Type)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL BACK WINDOW LOCK STRIKER ASSEMBLY (for Glass Hatch Type)


    1. Install the back window lock striker assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL BACK WINDOW MOULDING OUTSIDE LH (for Glass Hatch Type)


    1. Clean the back door glass.

    2. Remove the release paper from a new back window moulding outside LH.

      Tech Tips

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      Install the new back window moulding outside LH as shown in the illustration.

      Standard Dimension
      Area Dimension
      a 5.0 mm (0.197 in.)
      b 5.0 mm (0.197 in.)

  5. INSTALL BACK WINDOW MOULDING OUTSIDE (for Glass Hatch Type)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the back window moulding outside LH.

  6. INSTALL BACK DOOR GLASS


    1. Install the back door glass with the 4 nuts.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL BACK WINDOW STAY ASSEMBLY LH (for Glass Hatch Type)
