DESCRIPTION

When the ignition switch is ON, the power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH door) is operated by the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door).

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR RH DOOR) - BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the J5 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J5-2 (B) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

  2. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR RH DOOR)


    1. Remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door).

    1. Disconnect the J1 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear RH door) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J5-7 (U) - J1-2 (U) Always Below 1 Ω
      J5-7 (U) or J1-2 (U) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J5-1 (D) - J1-1 (D) Always Below 1 Ω
      J5-1 (D) or J1-1 (D) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
