ROOF HEADLINING DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Normal Roof)

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Sliding Roof)

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE DIGITAL AUDIO BROADCASTING ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (w/ DAB Function)

  5. REMOVE REAR WASHER HOSE ASSEMBLY (for Normal Roof)


    1. w/ Adhesive Tape:


      1. Remove the adhesive tape from the roof headlining assembly.

    2. Remove the rear washer hose assembly from the roof headlining assembly.

  6. REMOVE REAR WASHER HOSE ASSEMBLY (for Sliding Roof)


    1. w/ Adhesive Tape:


      1. Remove the adhesive tape from the roof headlining assembly.

    2. Disengage each clamp and remove the rear washer hose assembly from the roof headlining assembly.

  7. REMOVE AIR DUCT SEAL

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for all air duct seals.

      Remove the air duct seal.

  8. REMOVE SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

    Use the same procedure for the front side and rear side.

  9. REMOVE SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING SUPPORT PLATE (for Normal Roof)


    1. Remove the 2 roof headlining support plates.

  11. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING SUPPORT PLATE (for Sliding Roof)


    1. Remove the 2 roof headlining support plates.

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 ROOF WIRE (for Normal Roof)


    1. Remove the adhesive tape from the roof headlining assembly.

      *C w/ Rain Sensor - -
      B004057 Adhesive Tape - -

    2. Turn the 2 visor connectors counterclockwise approximately 45° and remove them from the roof headlining assembly.

    3. Disengage each clamp and remove the No. 1 roof wire from the roof headlining assembly.

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 ROOF WIRE (for Sliding Roof)


    1. Remove the adhesive tape from the roof headlining assembly.

      *C for LHD with Rain Sensor *D for RHD with Rain Sensor
      *E w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System - -
      B004057 Adhesive Tape - -

    2. Turn the 2 visor connectors counterclockwise approximately 45° and remove them from the roof headlining assembly.

      *C for LHD with Rain Sensor *D for RHD with Rain Sensor
      *a 45° - -

    3. Disengage each clamp and remove the No. 1 roof wire from the roof headlining assembly.
