INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT


    1. A018HS0

      Remove the 3 screws <D> and No. 1 heater to register duct.

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT


    1. A018KKS

      Remove the screw <D>.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 side defroster nozzle duct.

  3. REMOVE NO. 4 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT


    1. A018JZJ

      Remove the 3 screws <D> and No. 4 heater to register duct.

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT


    1. A018H79

      Remove the screw <D>.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 side defroster nozzle duct.

  5. REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY


    1. A018JDN

      Remove the 3 screws <D> and defroster nozzle assembly.

  6. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)

  7. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  9. REMOVE CENTER HEATER TO REGISTER SUB DUCT

      Remove the 2 screws <D> and center heater to register sub duct.

  10. REMOVE AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR

  11. REMOVE NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE


    1. A018JKK

      Disengage the 12 clamps to remove the No. 4 instrument panel wire.

  12. REMOVE NO. 1 DEFROSTER NOZZLE GARNISH


    1. A018HF7

      Disengage the 4 claws, 2 clips and 4 guides to remove the No. 1 defroster nozzle garnish.

  13. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION


    1. Remove the instrument panel cushion.

  14. REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE


    1. A018JBF

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 1 side defroster nozzle.

  15. REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE


    1. A018H3L

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 2 side defroster nozzle.

  16. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL PIN


    1. A018I0Q

      Remove the 2 screws <D> and 2 No. 1 instrument panel pins.
