GENERATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the wire harness clamp bracket with the bolt.

      Torque:

      8.4 N*m  { 86 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf }

   2. Connect the generator assembly bracket with the wire harness clamp.

   3. Install generator assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      43 N*m  { 438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf }

   4. Temporarily install the generator assembly bracket with the 2 bolts.

   5. Fully tighten the generator assembly bracket with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:

      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

   6. Connect the 3 wire harness clamps.

   7. Connect the compressor and magnetic clutch connector to the compressor and magnetic clutch.

   8. Connect the generator assembly connector to the generator assembly.

   9. Connect the wire harness to terminal B and install the nut.

      Torque:

      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf }

   10. Install the terminal cap.

4. INSTALL FAN SHROUD

   Click here

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
