PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT PANORAMIC VIEW MONITOR SWITCH (FRONT WIDE VIEW SWITCH)

      Component without harness connected

      (Panoramic View Monitor Switch)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      11 (B) - 8 (D) Panoramic view monitor switch on (not protruding) Below 1 Ω
      11 (B) - 8 (D) Panoramic view monitor switch off (protruding) 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the panoramic view monitor switch.

    2. Check that the switch illuminates.

        Component without harness connected

        (Panoramic View Monitor Switch)

        Apply battery voltage to the panoramic view monitor switch and check that the switch illuminates.

        OK
        Connection Specified Condition

        Battery positive (+) → Terminal 10 (ILL+)

        Battery negative (-) → Terminal 9 (ILL-)

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the panoramic view monitor switch.
