DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides power to operate the blind spot monitor sensor.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR LH POWER SOURCE)


    1. Disconnect the M31 blind spot monitor sensor LH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      M31-5 (BLB) - Body ground Ignition Switch ON 11 to 14 V
      M31-5 (BLB) - Body ground Ignition Switch off Below 1 V
      Result
      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR LH - BODY GROUND)


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      M31-10 (BLGD) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR RH POWER SOURCE)


    1. Disconnect the L23 blind spot monitor sensor RH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L23-5 (BRB) - Body ground Ignition Switch ON 11 to 14 V
      L23-5 (BRB) - Body ground Ignition Switch off Below 1 V
