This circuit provides power to operate the clearance warning ECU assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY - BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the F87 clearance warning ECU assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F87-12 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
      F87-12 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      Result
      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    NG

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND)


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F87-27 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
