NAVIGATION SYSTEM(for Radio and Display Type) Data Signal Circuit between Stereo Jack Adapter and Extension Module

DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly sends the sound data signal or image data signal from a USB device to the navigation ECU via this circuit.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION ECU - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY)

   
   

   1. Disconnect the F120 navigation ECU connector.

   2. Disconnect the F125 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

   3. 

      *a	Front view of wire harness connector (to Navigation ECU)
      *b	Front view of wire harness connector (to No. 1 Stereo Jack Adapter Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F125-2 (US1-) - F120-2 (US1-) Always Below 1 Ω F125-3 (US1+) - F120-3 (US1+) Always Below 1 Ω F125-5 (UJSS) - F120-5 (UJSS) Always Below 1 Ω F125-2 (US1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher F125-3 (US1+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher F125-5 (UJSS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
