AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM Display Signal Circuit between Radio Receiver and Stereo Jack Adapter

DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly sends the display signal from an external device to the radio and display receiver assembly via this circuit.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY)

   
   

   1. Disconnect the F71 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

   2. Disconnect the F74 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

   3. 

      *a	Front view of wire harness connector (to Radio and Display Receiver Assembly)
      *b	Front view of wire harness connector (to No. 1 Stereo Jack Adapter Assembly)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F71-13 (VV+) - F74-6 (VV+) Always Below 1 Ω F71-14 (VV-) - F74-11 (VV-) Always Below 1 Ω F71-13 (VV+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher F71-14 (VV-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher F71-12 (SG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
