FRONT STABILIZER BAR(for 2WD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. SEPARATE TIE ROD ASSEMBLY RH

  2. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH

      Remove the 2 nuts and front stabilizer link assembly LH from the front shock absorber assembly and front stabilizer bar.

      Tech Tips

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud bolt.

  3. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH

      Remove the 2 bolts and front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH from the front frame assembly.

  5. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH

    Tech Tips

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. SEPARATE FRONT STABILIZER BAR

  7. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 STABILIZER BRACKET LH

      Remove the front No. 2 stabilizer bracket LH from the front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushing.

  8. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 STABILIZER BRACKET RH

    Tech Tips

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. REMOVE STEERING LINK ASSEMBLY

  10. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR


    1. Remove the front stabilizer bar with 2 front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushings from the vehicle.

  11. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BAR BUSHING


    1. Remove the 2 front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushings from the front stabilizer bar.
