FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seat Cushion Heater Assembly LH)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B-1 - B-4 Seat heater temperature 15 to 30°C (59 to 86°F) 3.47 Ω B-1 - C-1 Seat heater temperature 15 to 30°C (59 to 86°F) Below 1 Ω B-2 - B-3 Seat heater temperature 15 to 30°C (59 to 86°F) 8.2 to 14.9 Ω B-4 - C-2 Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion heater assembly LH.

2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY RH

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D-1 - D-4 Seat heater temperature 15 to 30°C (59 to 86°F) 3.47 Ω D-1 - E-1 Seat heater temperature 15 to 30°C (59 to 86°F) Below 1 Ω D-2 - D-3 Seat heater temperature 15 to 30°C (59 to 86°F) 8.2 to 14.9 Ω D-4 - E-2 Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion heater assembly RH.
