REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY(for 60/40 Split Seat Type LH Side) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER TRACK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the rear seat outer track assembly LH to the rear seat track adjusting handle as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Make sure the handle is straight when installing it, and check that it is centered.

  2. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER TRACK ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the rear seat inner track assembly LH to the rear seat track adjusting handle as shown in the illustration.

      Make sure the handle is straight when installing it, and check that it is centered.

  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY LH


    1. A01QVZ2

      Install the rear seat track rail bracket LH.

    2. A01QUWO

      Install the rear seat cushion frame sub-assembly LH with the 6 nuts.

      Torque:
      29 N*m  { 296 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01QVTA

      Using a T45 "TORX" socket wrench, install the rear seatback frame sub-assembly to the rear seat cushion frame sub-assembly with the 5 bolts as shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL NO. 3 REAR SEAT RECLINING CONTROL CABLE


    1. A01QVSW

      Engage the 8 cable clamps to install the No. 3 rear seat reclining control cable.

    2. Install 2 new wire harness clamps.

  6. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR SEAT TRACK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. A01QVCS

      Engage the 6 cable clamps to install the No. 1 rear seat track control cable assembly.

  7. INSTALL NO. 4 REAR SEAT RECLINING CONTROL CABLE


    1. A01QUQX

      Engage the 2 cable clamps to install the No. 4 rear seat reclining control cable.

    2. Install 2 new wire harness clamps.

  8. INSTALL RECLINING HINGE COVER LH


    1. A01QVXW

      Engage the 3 guides to install the reclining hinge cover LH.

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 REAR SEAT RECLINING COVER LH


    1. A01QUQH

      Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Install the No. 1 rear seat reclining cover LH with the screw.

  10. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  11. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION HINGE COVER LH

      Engage the 2 guides and clip to install the rear seat cushion hinge cover LH.

      *A w/ Seat Heater System

      Engage the clamp.

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. Engage the 2 clamps.

  12. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION MOULDING LH


    1. A01QVCJ

      Engage the guide and 6 claws.

    2. Install the rear seat cushion moulding LH with the screw.

  13. INSTALL REAR SEAT REAR CUSHION MOULDING


    1. A01QVIT

      Engage the guide and 6 claws.

    2. Install the rear seat rear cushion moulding with the screw.

  14. INSTALL SEAT HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

  15. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER


    1. A01QUUT

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover to the separate type rear seatback pad with 9 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover.

  16. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Temporarily install the rear seatback cover with pad to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly.

      Engage the 2 hooks.

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. A01QWK0C01
        *a Clamp
        *b Wire Harness Clamp

        Engage the clamp.

      2. Install a new wire harness clamp.

    4. A01QW8A

      Engage the 6 hooks.

    5. A01QWMJ

      Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the rear seatback cover with pad.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the rear seatback cover with pad.

  17. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT ASSEMBLY

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear No. 1 seat headrest support assemblies.

  18. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR SEAT COVER BEZEL


    1. A01QV2V

      Install the No. 2 rear seat cover bezel with the 3 screws.

  19. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER


    1. A01QWHE

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seatback lock striker covers.

  20. INSTALL RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL LEVER KNOB


    1. A01QVMR

      Engage the claw to install the reclining remote control lever knob as shown in the illustration.

  21. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BOARD CARPET ASSEMBLY

      Engage the 2 guides and 9 claws as indicated by the arrows, in the order shown in the illustration to install the rear seatback board carpet assembly.

  22. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER

      Engage the 4 claws to install the rear seatback cover.

  24. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Using hog ring pliers, install 13 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seat cushion cover.

    2. A01QVOZ

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seat cushion cover to the separate type rear seat cushion pad with 6 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seat cushion cover.

  25. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

      Engage the 2 hooks.

      Engage the 14 hooks to install the rear seat cushion cover with pad.

  27. CONNECT REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER HARNESS (w/ Seat Heater System)

      Engage the clamp to connect the rear seat cushion heater harness.

    2. Connect the connector.

  28. CONNECT REAR SEATBACK HEATER HARNESS (w/ Seat Heater System)

      Engage the 2 clamps to connect the rear seatback heater harness.

    2. Connect the connector.

    3. Install a new wire harness clamp.

  29. INSTALL REAR SEAT WIRE (w/ Seat Heater System)

      Engage the 6 clamps to install the rear seat wire.

    2. Connect the connector.

  30. INSTALL REAR SEAT WIRE (w/ Seat Belt Warning System)

      Engage the 6 clamps to install the rear seat wire.

    2. Connect the connector.

  31. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Engage the 2 cable clamps.

    2. Install a new wire harness clamp as shown in the illustration.

      Engage the 3 guides.

    4. A01QUZA

      Install the rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

    5. A01QVKW

      Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration.

  32. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER COVER

      Engage the guide and claw to install the rear No. 1 seatback lock striker cover as shown in the illustration.

  33. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

      Install the reclining adjuster release handle with the 3 screws.

  34. INSTALL REAR SEAT COVER CAP

      Engage the 3 claws to install the rear seat cover cap.
