PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Driver Side)

  2. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

    Click here

  5. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER (w/o Climate Control Seat System)

      Disconnect the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

  6. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Disengage the 2 hooks to disconnect the 2 rubber bands of the separate type front seatback cover.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD (for Driver Side)

      Disengage the claw and 3 guides.

      Disengage the claw and guide to remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD (for Front Passenger Side)

      Disengage the claw and 4 guides.

      Disengage the claw and guide to remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Driver Side)

      Disengage the claw and 3 guides.

      Disengage the claw.

      Disengage the 2 claws and clip to separate the front seat cushion shield.

      Disengage the 3 claws and open the wire harness cover.

      Disengage the 2 clamps.

    7. Separate the wire harness from the wire harness guide.

      1. Disconnect the connector from the front power seat switch.

      1. Disconnect the 2 connectors from the position control ECU and switch assembly.

      Disconnect the connector from the front lumbar power seat switch.

    11. w/ Variable Seat Cushion System:

        Disconnect the connector from the variable cushion switch.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Front Passenger Side)

      Disengage the claw and 4 guides.

      Disengage the 2 guides.

      Disengage the claw.

      Disengage the 2 claws and clip to separate the front seat cushion shield.

    7. Separate the wire harness from the wire harness guide.

      Disconnect the connector from the front power seat switch.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER NO. 1 CUSHION SHIELD


    1. w/ Variable Seat Cushion System:

        Disengage the hook.

    2. B003ZVL

      Remove the 2 screws.

    3. Disengage the claw and clip to separate the front seat inner No. 1 cushion shield.

    4. B003ZCD

      Disengage the clamp.

  12. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  13. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  14. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/o Seat Position Memory System)

  18. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. Disengage the clamp.

      Disengage the fastener and separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

      Disengage the claw and 3 clamps to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    6. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

    7. B003ZG2

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    8. Disengage the 4 guides to remove the separate type front seatback assembly from the separate type front seat cushion assembly.

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 5 hog rings.

    2. A002CAM

      Remove the 3 hog rings.

    3. A0028IC

      Remove the 2 hog rings.

    4. A002BBE

      Turn back the separate type front seatback cover.

      Remove the 2 nuts and disengage the 3 brackets.

    6. w/ Climate Control Seat System:

        Disengage the 2 claws to separate the seatback climate control blower from the separate type front seatback pad.

      Disengage each claw and remove the 2 front seat headrest support assemblies.

  20. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.

      Remove the 4 hog rings.

      Remove the 2 hog rings and separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

      Disengage the 2 claws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  28. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HOOK


    1. for Driver Side


      1. Remove the 2 front seatback hooks from the lumbar support adjuster assembly.

    2. for Front Passenger Side


      1. Remove the 2 front seatback hooks from the front seatback spring sub-assembly.

  29. REMOVE FRONT SEAT NO. 2 WIRE


    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat No. 2 wire.

  30. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (for Driver Side)


    1. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disengage the 3 clamps.

      w/o Variable Seat Cushion System:


      1. Disengage the 10 hooks to remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

    3. w/ Variable Seat Cushion System:

        Disengage the 2 fasteners.

        Disengage the 4 hooks.

        Disengage the 4 hooks.

        Turn back the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

      Disengage the claw to separate the connector.

        Disengage the 3 clamps.

      Disengage the 12 hooks and 2 clips to remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  32. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

        Remove the 5 hog rings.

        Remove the 18 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

    2. w/ Variable Seat Cushion System:

        Remove the 2 hog rings.

      2. A002ASV

        Remove the 18 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the seat cushion climate control duct from the seat cushion climate control blower assembly.

  36. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BRACKET (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Remove the 2 screws and seat cushion climate control bracket from the seat cushion climate control blower assembly.

  37. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER ASSEMBLY (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Disconnect the connector.

      Disengage the 2 hooks to remove the seat cushion climate control blower assembly.

  38. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the clip to remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  44. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE


    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat wire.

  45. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

      Disengage the 6 hooks to remove the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly from the front seat adjuster assembly.
