  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A0027FO

      Engage 6 hooks to install the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly to the front seat adjuster assembly.

  2. INSTALL SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

      Install the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT WIRE (w/ Seat Heater System)


    1. Engage each claw and each clamp to install the No. 1 seat wire.

  4. INSTALL SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE

      Engage the 2 springs to install the seat track adjusting handle.

  5. INSTALL LH SEAT FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH (for Driver Side)


    1. A002BP7

      Engage the 3 claws and guide to install the LH seat front seat cushion edge protector LH.

  6. INSTALL LH SEAT FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH (for Driver Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL RH SEAT FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR LH (for Front Passenger Side)

      Engage the 3 claws and guide to install the RH seat front seat cushion edge protector LH.

  8. INSTALL RH SEAT FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR RH (for Front Passenger Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Driver Side)

      Engage the clip to install the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

    2. Engage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the screw.

  10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Driver Side)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  13. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover to the separate type front seat cushion pad with 18 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

    2. A002AMB

      Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  14. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (for Driver Side)

      Engage the 13 hooks to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  15. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (for Front Passenger Side)

      Engage the 11 hooks to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

    2. A002BZE

      Engage the claw to install the connector.

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. A002BHT

        Engage the 3 clamps.

  16. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HOOK


    1. Install the 2 front seatback hooks to the front seatback spring sub-assembly.

  17. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A002AH7

      Engage the 2 guides to install the front seatback spring sub-assembly to the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

    2. Engage the 2 claws.

  18. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR


    1. B003ZC6

      Engage each claw to install the 2 front seatback edge protectors.

  19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  20. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

  21. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover to the separate type front seatback pad with 2 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seatback cover.

    2. B003ZT5

      Using hog ring pliers, install 4 new hog rings.

      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seatback cover.

  22. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Install the separate type front seatback cover with pad.

  23. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT ASSEMBLY

      Engage each claw to install the 2 front seat headrest support assemblies.

    2. A002B0YC01
      *a Bracket

      Engage the 3 brackets and install the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      Note


      • For vehicles with a front seat airbag assembly, the separate type front seatback cover with pad must be securely installed. Otherwise, the front seat airbag assembly may not deploy properly.

      • Make sure that the strap is not twisted after installing the nut.

      • Install the brackets securely.

    3. B003ZNA

      Return the separate type front seatback cover to its original position.

    4. B003Z4Q

      Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seatback cover.

    5. B003YYA

      Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seatback cover.

      Using hog ring pliers, install 5 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seatback cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seatback cover.

  24. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

      Engage the 4 guides to install the separate type front seatback assembly to the separate type front seat cushion assembly.

    2. Install the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Engage the clamp.

      2. Connect the connector.

      B003ZIE Seat Clamp

      Engage the claw and 3 clamps to install the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    5. Install the front seat airbag assembly wire harness to the seat clamp.

      B003ZQH Fastener

      Engage the fastener to secure the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    7. A0027HH

      Engage the 2 hooks.

  30. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Driver Side)

      Engage the claw, guide and 2 clips to install the front seat cushion shield.

      Engage the claw and 3 guides.

  31. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Front Passenger Side)

      Engage the claw, guide and 2 clips to install the front seat cushion shield.

      Engage the claw and 4 guides.

  32. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Driver Side)

      Install the vertical adjusting handle with the screw.

  33. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

      Engage the claw to install the reclining adjuster release handle.

  34. CONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Connect the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

  35. INSTALL SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)
