SRS SEAT CUSHION AIRBAG ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT AIRBAG SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

   
   

   1. Install the front seat airbag sub-assembly RH with 3 new nuts.

      Torque:

      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      CAUTION:

      
      

      • The nuts must not be reused.

      • Make sure that the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.

   2. Engage the claw and 3 clamps.

      Tech Tips

      Engage the claw first.

   3. Install the front seat airbag sub-assembly RH wire harness to the seat clamp.

3. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH

4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD RH

5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER NO. 1 CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Power Seat)

   Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH

7. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH (for Manual Seat)

8. CONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER RH
