ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH (HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY)


    1. A002A3H

      Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the lock.

    2. Connect the hood lock control cable assembly.

    3. Install the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly) with the 2 bolts and hood lock bolt.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

    4. Connect the connector.

      Install a new hood lock nut cap.
