ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

    Click here

  2. REMOVE ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH (HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY) (for LHD)


    1. A00290FC01
      *a Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver, remove the hood lock nut cap.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. A002AJC

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. A0029QVC01
      *1 Hood Lock Bolt

      Remove the 2 bolts and hood lock bolt.

    4. A0029FI

      Disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly and remove the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly).

  3. REMOVE ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH (HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY) (for RHD)

      *a Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver, remove the hood lock nut cap.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. A002ABNC01
      *1 Hood Lock Bolt

      Remove the 2 bolts and hood lock bolt.

    4. A002C8J

      Disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly and remove the engine hood courtesy switch (hood lock assembly).
