4WD CONTROL ECU(for RHD) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

    Click here

  5. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH

  7. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE 4WD ECU ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the 4WD ECU assembly connector.

    2. A002BB0

      Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the 4WD ECU assembly.

      Note

      Be careful not to damage the 2 claws.
