LANE DEPARTURE ALERT BUZZER INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT LANE DEPARTURE WARNING BUZZER


    1. Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connector.

    2. Disconnect the lane departure warning buzzer connector.

    3. Check both the connector case and the terminal for deformation and corrosion.

      OK
      No deformation or corrosion.

      Connect a negative (-) lead from the battery to terminal 2, and a positive (+) lead to terminal 1 of the lane departure warning buzzer, and then check that the buzzer sounds.

      OK
      The lane departure warning buzzer sounds.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the lane departure warning buzzer.
