LANE DEPARTURE ALERT SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION

1. 

   *a	Master Warning Light
   *b	Lane Departure Alert Indicator

   If a malfunction occurs in the lane departure alert system, the master warning light turns on and the lane departure alert indicator turns off. Also, a warning message is displayed on the multi-information display and DTCs are stored in the lane departure warning camera.

   Note

   The master warning light turns off if the system returns to a normal condition.

CHECK INDICATOR

1. If a malfunction occurs in the lane departure alert system, the system turns off the lane departure alert indicator and the master warning light illuminates at the same time a "pong" sound is heard. Also, "CHECK LDA SYSTEM" is displayed in the combination meter assembly and the lane departure warning camera stores DTCs.

   Note

   If DTCs related to the communication system are stored, "CHECK LDA SYSTEM", which is displayed in the combination meter assembly, disappears when the system returns to normal.

   If DTCs not related to the communication system are stored, "CHECK LDA SYSTEM", which is displayed in the combination meter assembly, disappears when the engine switch is turned off then back on (IG) after the system returns to normal.
