OIL LEVEL SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL ENGINE ASSEMBLY TO ENGINE STAND (When Not Using the Engine Support Bridge)

2. DRAIN ENGINE OIL (When Using the Engine Support Bridge)

   Click here

3. REMOVE FRONT FRAME ASSEMBLY (When Using the Engine Support Bridge)

   Click here

4. SUPPORT AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY (When Using the Engine Support Bridge)

   
   

   1. 

      Set an engine lifter.

      CAUTION:

      To prevent the engine assembly with automatic transaxle assembly from falling while servicing, do not remove SST.

      Note

      Make sure that there is clearance between the automatic transaxle assembly and engine lifter.

5. REMOVE BELT (When Using the Engine Support Bridge)

6. REMOVE NO. 2 OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY

   Click here

7. REMOVE OIL STRAINER SUB-ASSEMBLY

   Click here

8. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the clip from the engine oil level sensor.

   2. 

      Remove the 2 nuts and engine oil level sensor from the oil pan sub-assembly.
