REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT
REMOVE CRANKSHAFT PULLEY

Using SST, hold the crankshaft pulley in place and loosen the crankshaft pulley bolt. Further loosen the bolt until 2 or 3 threads are screwed into the crankshaft.

Using SST, remove the crankshaft pulley bolt and crankshaft pulley.
Remove the pulley set key from the crankshaft.
REMOVE TIMING CHAIN CASE OIL SEAL

Using a knife, cut off the lip of the timing chain case oil seal.
Using a screwdriver, pry out the timing chain case oil seal.
Note
After removal, check the crankshaft for damage. If it is damaged, smooth the surface with 400-grit sandpaper.
Tech Tips
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
