  • Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.


  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR DOOR BELT MOULDING ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  3. REMOVE REAR DOOR CHECK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP

    Click here

  5. REMOVE REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH

    Click here

  6. REMOVE FRONT INNER BLACK OUT TAPE


    1. Using a heat light, heat the front inner black out tape and vehicle body.

      Heating Temperature
      Item Temperature
      Front Inner Black Out Tape and Vehicle Body 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)

      Note

      Do not heat the vehicle body excessively.

    2. A0020N4

      Pull back on one of the ends of the front inner black out tape to remove it.

      Tech Tips

      When pulling on the black out tape, pull it parallel to the body.

  7. REMOVE INNER UPPER BLACK OUT TAPE


    1. Using a heat light, heat the inner upper black out tape and vehicle body.

      Heating Temperature
      Item Temperature
      Inner Upper Black Out Tape and Vehicle Body 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)

      Note

      Do not heat the vehicle body excessively.

    2. A0020B5

      Pull back on one of the ends of the inner upper black out tape to remove it.

      Tech Tips

      When pulling on the black out tape, pull it parallel to the body.
