FRONT BUMPER(for Standard) INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY


    1. A01MT7U

      w/ Headlight Cleaner System:


      1. Remove the hose plage No. 2 and connect the washer hose to the windshield washer motor and pump assembly.

      2. Engage the clip and 2 clamps.

    2. Move the front bumper assembly into position.

    3. Connect each connector.

      Note

      Do not apply excessive force when pulling back the front bumper assembly.

      Engage the 7 guides and the claw (a) in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    5. Disengage the 2 claws (b) in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    6. Install the 2 clips.

    7. Install the 3 bolts.

    8. Install the screw.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    9. Install the 8 screws.

      *1 Pin Hold Clip
      *a Correct
      *b Incorrect

      Install the pin hold clip as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Insert the pin hold clip with the slot aligned vertically. Do not rotate the clip after inserting it. After installation, confirm that the slot is aligned vertically.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    11. Install the front bumper assembly with the clip.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  2. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION


    1. Install the 2 radiator support cushions.

  3. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL


    1. Install the cool air intake duct seal with the 9 clips.

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  5. PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK

  6. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

  7. ADJUST FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY (w/ Fog Light)

  8. ADD WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)
