FRONT BUMPER(for Standard) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH


    1. A01CZU6

      Engage the claw.

    2. Install the front bumper side retainer LH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT


    1. A01CZX1

      Install the front bumper reinforcement with the 6 bolts.

      Torque:
      29 N*m  { 296 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL POP-UP HOOD CHAMBER WITH SENSOR ASSEMBLY

  5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

      Engage the 2 guides to install the front bumper energy absorber.

  6. INSTALL INSIDE RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A01CZPG

      Engage the 2 guides and 6 claws, to install the inside radiator grille.

  7. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING


    1. A01D01W

      Engage the 13 claws and 4 guides.

    2. A01CZKK

      Install the radiator grille moulding with the 4 screws.

  8. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A01D0EM

      Engage the 12 claws.

    2. A01CZ7B

      Install the front bumper extension sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

  9. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A01D04N

      Engage the 13 claws to install the lower No. 2 radiator grille.

  10. INSTALL SYMBOL EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)


    1. A01CZWM

      Engage the claw and guide.

    2. Install the symbol emblem with 2 new spring nuts.

  11. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the symbol emblem.

  12. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE BRACKET


    1. A01D0LU

      Install the radiator grille bracket with the clip.

  13. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR


    1. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

      *a Double-sided Tape

      Remove the release paper and engage the 15 clips to install a new radiator grille protector.

  14. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER BRACKET LH


    1. A01D0DK

      Engage the 2 claws to install the front bumper bracket LH.

  15. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER BRACKET RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  16. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT BUMPER BRACKET LH


    1. A01CZBU

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. A01CZSV

      Install the No. 1 front bumper bracket LH with the 2 clips.

  17. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT BUMPER BRACKET RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  18. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER RETAINER BRACKET

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Install the No. 2 front bumper retainer bracket with the 2 screws.

  19. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT BUMPER RETAINER BRACKET

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 front bumper retainer bracket.

      Engage the claw to install the front fender liner retainer.

      Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  24. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENTION MOUNTING BRACKET

        Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 screws.

    2. for Type B:

        Engage the 4 claws.

        Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 screws.

  25. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH (w/o Fog Light)

    1. Engage the 6 claws to install the front bumper hole cover LH.

      Engage the guide and 2 claws.

    2. Install the clip.

    3. Install the 2 screws.

      Install the air intake duct LH with the 2 pin hold clips as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Insert the pin hold clip with the slot aligned vertically. Do not rotate the clip after inserting it. After installation, confirm that the slot is aligned vertically.

  34. INSTALL AIR INTAKE DUCT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  35. INSTALL CONNECTOR COVER (w/o LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Engage the clamp to install the connector cover.

  36. INSTALL NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. Engage the 10 clamps to install the No. 4 engine room wire.

    2. Remove the release paper from a new hose clamp.

      Tech Tips

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      Align the marking on the front bumper with the hose clamp and install the clamp as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  37. INSTALL LOWER SIDE RADIATOR GRILLE LH (w/ Lower Radiator Grille)

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the lower side radiator grille LH with the 3 screws.

  38. INSTALL LOWER SIDE RADIATOR GRILLE RH (w/ Lower Radiator Grille)

  39. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE CENTER MOULDING LH (w/o LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Engage the 2 claws to install the radiator grille center moulding LH.

    1. Engage the 7 clamps to install the headlight cleaner hose.

    2. Remove the release paper from a new hose clamp.

      Tech Tips

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      Align the marking on the front bumper with thehose clamp and install the clamp as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
