PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

  2. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

      Remove the hose clamp.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    2. Disengage the 7 clamps to remove the headlight cleaner hose.

  4. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE CENTER MOULDING LH (w/o LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. A01CZMU

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the radiator grille center moulding LH.

  5. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE CENTER MOULDING RH (w/o LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

  10. REMOVE LOWER SIDE RADIATOR GRILLE LH (w/ Lower Radiator Grille)

      Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the lower side radiator grille LH.

  11. REMOVE LOWER SIDE RADIATOR GRILLE RH (w/ Lower Radiator Grille)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  12. REMOVE CONNECTOR COVER (w/o LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Disengage the clamp to remove the connector cover.

  13. REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. w/o Headlight Cleaner System:

        Remove the hose clamp.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    2. Disengage the 10 clamps to remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

  14. REMOVE AIR INTAKE DUCT LH

      *a 90°

      Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the 2 pin hold clips.

    2. A01CZNW

      Remove the 2 screws.

    3. Remove the clip.

    4. Disengage the 2 claws and guide to remove the air intake duct LH.

  15. REMOVE AIR INTAKE DUCT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  16. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light)

  17. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Fog Light)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  18. REMOVE FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET LH (w/o Fog Light)

    1. Remove the 2 screws and fog light mounting bracket LH.

  19. REMOVE FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET RH (w/o Fog Light)

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  20. REMOVE FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET LH (w/ Fog Light)

    1. Remove the 2 screws and fog light mounting bracket LH.

  22. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH (w/o Fog Light)

      Disengage the 6 claws to remove the front bumper hole cover LH.

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  24. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH (w/ Fog Light)

      Disengage the 6 claws to remove the fog light cover LH.

  26. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENTION MOUNTING BRACKET


    1. for Type A:

        Remove the 2 screws.

      2. A01D03P

        Disengage the 4 claws to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

    2. for Type B:


      1. A01CZYA

        Remove the 2 screws.

      2. A01D0JV

        Disengage the 4 claws to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

  27. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

      Disengage the claw to remove the front fender liner retainer.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  28. REMOVE LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER

      *a Hook

      Disengage the 2 claws and guide.

    2. Disengage the hook to remove the lower front bumper cover.

  29. REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  31. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER RETAINER BRACKET

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 2 front bumper retainer bracket.

  32. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT BUMPER RETAINER BRACKET

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 front bumper retainer bracket.

  33. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT BUMPER BRACKET LH

      Remove the 2 clips.

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 1 front bumper bracket LH.

  34. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT BUMPER BRACKET RH

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front bumper bracket LH.

      Disengage the 15 clips and remove the radiator grille protector.

  39. REMOVE SYMBOL EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

      Remove the 2 spring nuts.

    2. Disengage the claw and guide to remove the symbol emblem.

  40. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the symbol emblem.

  41. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 RADIATOR GRILLE

      Disengage the 13 claws and remove the lower No. 2 radiator grille.

  42. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. A01D0EM

      Disengage the 12 claws and remove the front bumper extension sub-assembly.

  43. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING


    1. A01CZKK

      Remove the 4 screws.

    2. A01D01W

      Disengage the 13 claws and 4 guides, and remove the radiator grille moulding.

  44. REMOVE INSIDE RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A01CZPG

      Disengage the 6 claws and 2 guides, and remove the inside radiator grille.

  45. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


    1. A01CZMI

      Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  46. REMOVE POP-UP HOOD CHAMBER WITH SENSOR ASSEMBLY

  47. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

      Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.

  48. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Disengage the claw to remove the front bumper side retainer LH.

  49. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH
