GRILLE SHUTTER SYSTEM TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CHECK SWING GRILLE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the B7 swing grille actuator assembly connector.

      A01D075N01

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tech Tips

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      B7-6 (+B) - Body ground SB - Body ground Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      B7-4 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the B7 swing grille actuator assembly connector.

    4. Check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tech Tips

      A waterproof connector is used for the swing grille actuator assembly. Therefore, when performing an inspection on the swing grille actuator assembly, measure at the connector on the air conditioning amplifier assembly side with the connector connected.

  2. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the K10 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tech Tips

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      K10-5 (IG+) - K10-1 (GND) R - BR Power source (IG) Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      K10-5 (IG+) - K10-1 (GND) R - BR Power source (IG) Power switch off Below 1 V
      K10-6 (+B1) - K10-1 (GND) L - BR Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      K10-1 (GND) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the K10 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    4. Check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      K10-28 (BLIN) - K10-1 (GND) P - BR LIN communication line Power switch on (IG) Pulse generation

      If the result is not as specified, the air conditioning amplifier assembly may be malfunctioning.
