REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH


    1. A0022LQC30
      *A w/o Rear Fog Light
      *B w/ Rear Fog Light
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Rear Light Assembly RH)

      Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the rear light assembly RH and check that the lights come on.

      OK
      Condition Specified Condition

      Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (B)

      Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (E)

      		 Taillight comes on

      Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (B/U)*1

      Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (E)

      		 Back-up light comes on

      Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 4 (B)*2

      Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (E)

      		 Rear fog light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear light assembly RH.


      • *1: w/o Rear Fog Light

      • *2: w/ Rear Fog Light

  2. INSPECT REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Rear Light Assembly LH)

      Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the rear light assembly LH and check that the lights come on.

      OK
      Condition Specified Condition

      Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (B)

      Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (E)

      		 Taillight comes on

      Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 2 (B/U)

      Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 3 (E)

      		 Back-up light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear light assembly LH.
