DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH receives signals indicating the vehicle speed signal from the skid control ECU using CAN communication. The No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH stores DTC B2415.

  • Confirm that there are no CAN communication system malfunctions before performing the following procedure.

  • If the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH has been replaced, it is necessary to synchronize the vehicle information and initialize the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.

PROCEDURE


  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling / Trouble Codes.

    5. Clear the DTCs.


      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs
      Result

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling / Trouble Codes.

    5. Check for DTCs.


      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Trouble Codes
      OK
      DTC B2415 is not output.

  3. CHECK FOR DTC (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRC / Trouble Codes.

    5. Check for DTCs.


      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRC > Trouble Codes
      OK
      Electronically controlled brake system DTCs are not output.
