  • If the headlight leveling ECU assembly has been replaced, it is necessary to synchronize the vehicle information and initialize the headlight leveling ECU assembly.

    • Removal/installation of the rear height control sensor sub-assembly

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs

    2. Check for DTCs.

      Click here

      DTC B241A is not output.

  2. READ VALUE USING GTS


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling / Data List.

    5. Read the display on the GTS.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY - REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the A65 headlight leveling ECU assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the g1 rear height control sensor sub-assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A65-19 (SHRL) - g1-2 (OUT) Always Below 1 Ω
      A65-19 (SHRL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
