  • Confirm that there are no CAN communication system malfunctions before performing the following procedure.

Tech Tips


    If the forward recognition camera stores a DTC for a malfunction of any of the following, this DTC will be stored simultaneously.

  • Speed sensor

  • Yaw rate sensor

  • Steering sensor

  • CAN communication system

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTC (HEALTH CHECK)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.

    5. Check for DTCs.

    1. Check if a dynamic radar cruise control system, lane departure alert system or pre-collision system warning message is displayed on the multi-information display.
