DESCRIPTION

The combination meter assembly receives the hazard warning signal switch on signal and controls the operation of the hazard warning lights.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.


      Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Data List

      OFF: Hazard warning signal switch off

      ON: Hazard warning signal switch on

  2. INSPECT AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH)


    1. Remove the air conditioning control assembly (hazard warning signal switch).

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH) - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the K4 combination meter assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K65-11 (LJB) - K4-12 (HAZM) Always Below 1 Ω
      K65-9 (HAZ) - K4-2 (HZSW) Always Below 1 Ω
      K65-11 (LJB) or K4-12 (HAZM) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      K65-9 (HAZ) or K4-2 (HZSW) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
