  1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT CLEANER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    This check should be performed with the headlight cleaner motor and pump assembly installed on the washer jar.


    1. Fill the washer jar with washer fluid.

      (Headlight Cleaner Motor and Pump Assembly)

      Connect a auxiliary battery positive (+) lead to terminal 2 of the headlight cleaner motor and pump assembly, and a auxiliary battery negative (-) lead to terminal 1.

    3. Check that washer fluid flows from the washer jar.

      OK
      Washer fluid flows from the washer jar.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight cleaner motor and pump assembly.
