ROOM LIGHT INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Inspect the rear map light.

      
      
      1. 

         *a	Component without harness connected (Spot Light Assembly)

         Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check that the rear map light comes on.

         OK
         Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 1 (B) Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 3 (GND1) Rear map light switch LH on Rear map light LH comes on Rear map light switch RH on Rear map light RH comes on

         If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb or spot light assembly.

   2. Inspect the rear dome light.

      
      

      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check that the rear dome light comes on.

         OK
         Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 1 (B) Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 2 (CTY) Always Rear dome light comes on

         If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb or spot light assembly.

   3. Inspect the switch illumination.

      
      

      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check that the switch illumination comes on.

         OK
         Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 4 (ILLB) Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 3 (GND1) Always Switch illumination comes on

         If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.
