PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Inspect the luggage compartment door lock motor.

        *b Unlock
        *c

        Component without harness connected

        (Luggage Compartment Door Lock Assembly)

        Move the luggage compartment door lock to the lock position.

      2. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the luggage compartment lock motor and check operation of the luggage compartment lock motor.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 1 (B)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 2 (E)

        		 Always Luggage compartment door lock motor unlock operation

        If the result is not as specified, replace the luggage compartment door lock assembly.

    2. Inspect the luggage compartment courtesy switch.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        2 (E) - 3 (D+) Lock 10 kΩ or higher
        2 (E) - 3 (D+) Unlock Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the luggage compartment door lock assembly.
