DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when one of the following is detected: 1) a tilt sensor (yaw rate and acceleration sensor) power supply malfunction; 2) a tilt sensor (yaw rate and acceleration sensor) open malfunction; or 3) an EEPROM malfunction.

  • Tilt sensor (yaw rate and acceleration sensor) power supply malfunction

  • Tilt sensor (yaw rate and acceleration sensor) open malfunction

  • EEPROM malfunction


  • Tilt sensor (Yaw rate and acceleration sensor)

  • Main body ECU (Multiplex network body ECU)

Note


  • If the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is replaced, refer to Service Bulletin.

  • When replacing the tilt sensor (yaw rate and acceleration sensor), perform zero point calibration.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > Main Body > Clear DTCs
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG), then off.

    3. Set the theft deterrent system to "ARMED STATE".

      Click here

    4. Check that the security indicator light changes from illuminated to blinking.

    5. Set the theft deterrent system to "DISARMED STATE".

      Click here

    6. Check for DTCs.

      Click here

      OK
      DTC B2768 is not output.

  2. REPLACE TILT SENSOR (YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR)


    1. Temporarily replace the tilt sensor (yaw rate and acceleration sensor) with a new or known good one.
