ENTRY AND START SYSTEM(for Start Function) DTC CHECK / CLEAR

Note

When using the GTS with the power switch off, connect the GTS to the DLC3 and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at intervals of 1.5 seconds or less until communication between the GTS and the vehicle begins. Then select Model Code "KEY REGIST" under manual mode and enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Entry&Start(CAN). While using the GTS, periodically turn a courtesy light switch on and off at intervals of 1.5 seconds or less to maintain communication between the GTS and the vehicle.


  1. CHECK FOR DTC (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) (POWER SOURCE CONTROL))


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Power Source Control / Trouble Codes.


      Body Electrical > Power Source Control > Trouble Codes

    5. Check for DTCs.

  2. CHECK FOR DTC (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) (ENTRY&START))


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Entry&Start / Trouble Codes.


      Body Electrical > Entry&Start > Trouble Codes

    5. Check for DTCs.

  3. CHECK FOR DTC (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (HYBRID CONTROL))

  4. CLEAR DTC (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) (POWER SOURCE CONTROL))


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Power Source Control / Trouble Codes.


      Body Electrical > Power Source Control > Clear DTCs

    5. Clear the DTCs by following the directions on the GTS display.

  5. CLEAR DTC (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) (ENTRY&START))


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Entry&Start / Trouble Codes.


      Body Electrical > Entry&Start > Clear DTCs

    5. Clear the DTCs by following the directions on the GTS display.

  6. CLEAR DTC (HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (HYBRID CONTROL))
