DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER(w/ Tire Pressure Warning System) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

   PRECAUTION (w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag)

   CAUTION:

   Be sure to read Precaution thoroughly before servicing.

   Note:

   After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative(-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

   REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH (w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag)

   DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Rear Seat Side Airbag)

   CAUTION:

   Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

   Note:

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

   REMOVE REAR SIDE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH (for Fold Down Seat Type)

   Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

    REMOVE DOOR CONTROL AND TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

       Remove the bolt.

    2. Disengage the 2 hooks to remove the door control and tire pressure monitoring system receiver assembly.

    3. Disconnect the connector to remove the door control and tire pressure monitoring system receiver assembly.
