DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides power to operate the blind spot monitor sensor.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR LH - AUXILIARY BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the Q50 blind spot monitor sensor LH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Q50-5 (BLB) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      Q50-5 (BLB) - Body ground Power switch off Below 1 V
      Result
      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    NG

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR LH - BODY GROUND)


    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Q50-10 (BLGD) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR RH - AUXILIARY BATTERY)


    1. Disconnect the Q51 blind spot monitor sensor RH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Q51-5 (BRB) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      Q51-5 (BRB) - Body ground Power switch off Below 1 V
      Result
