DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored if the radio receiver assembly judges that the signals or signal lines between the radio receiver assembly and the rear television camera assembly are not normal as a result of its self check.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the K135 radio receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the T1 rear television camera assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K135-11 (CA+) - T1-6 (CB+) Always Below 1 Ω
      K135-12 (V+) - T1-3 (CV+) Always Below 1 Ω
      K135-24 (V-) - T1-2 (CV-) Always Below 1 Ω
      K135-23 (CGND) - T1-5 (CGND) Always Below 1 Ω
      K135-11 (CA+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      K135-12 (V+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      K135-24 (V-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      K135-23 (CGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  2. INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY


    1. Reconnect the K135 radio receiver assembly connector.

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Check the waveform of the rear television camera assembly using an oscilloscope.

      Tech Tips

      A waterproof connector is used for the rear television camera assembly. Therefore, inspect the waveform at the radio receiver assembly with the connector connected.
